Episode 3

Mr Chidindu and his son successfully reached home, by this time, Mrs Adaora was already done with her cooking, she gathered her family together, served them the food and everyone ate to their fill, her husband commended her for the delicious meal, and her children said that she's the best cook in the world, they rested for a while for the food to digest, and everyone went to bed, while she and her husband were in bed, her husband started this conversation:

Mr Chigozie: Ugegbem, meaning: my mirror, that's the pet name that he usually calls his wife, because she was fair complexion and her skin was always glowing. So he said: Ugegbem, there's something I've been meaning to tell you.

Mrs Adaora: what's that, my love?

Mr Chigozie: it's about my friend's visit here earlier this evening.

Mrs Adaora: enhe, my husband, I've been meaning to ask you, what did he come her for?

Mr Chigozie: he said he wants Amanda for a wife.

Mrs Adaora: I don't understand, Amanda for a wife, how?

Mr Chigozie: okay babe, I was just pulling your legs, he wants Amanda as a wife for his son Nnanna.

Mrs Adaora: but my love, don't you think that Amanda is too small for Nnanna?

Mr Chigozie: I thought as much, but you remember that you was only 10 when I came to declare my intentions to your parents, and now, we're married and happy.

Mrs Adaora: it's true my love, I don't think it's a bad idea, considering the fact that his family are rich, they'll take good care of my daughter, and it's not like they're getting married anytime soon, he'll wait till she comes of age, I think you should tell him that we're in.
