Episode 5

Mr Chidindu went home in a very happy mood, when he got home, his daughters were playing pillow fights with Nnanna, while Ugomma, (his first daughter),  was helping their mother in the kitchen, when they sighted their father, they all came to hug and greet him.

Because of the excitement, he told his wife to carry the two biggest chicken in their poultry, and prepare pounded yam and egusi soup, while he told Nnanna to go and kill it, their mom prepared the meal, it was so delicious, after they rested for a while, their mom took the ladies out to tell them tales by moonlight, 🌙 while their dad took Nnanna outside, to discuss with him, man to man, and this was the conversation:

Mr Chidindu: Nnanna my son.

Nnanna: yes Papa.

Mr Chidindu: I know that from my mood, you'll know that I'm very excited.

Nnanna: yes Papa, what's the good news, let it out already, has Amanda parents agreed to give their consent to my marriage proposal?

(Mr Chidindu shakes his head, and Nnanna face changed).

Mr Chidindu: yes! my son, we won.

Nnanna: yay! (scrunching up his face), but Papa, why will you pull up that kind of stunt with me.

Mr Chidindu: I'm sorry my son, I was only joking with you.

(And they hugged)

Nnanna: so Papa, I'll be the one that'll finally marry Amanda, the most beautiful and well mannered girl in the whole of this community?

Mr Chidindu: yes my son, they said we can finally come to perform the traditional rites.

Nnanna: I'm so happy Papa.

Mr Chidindu: you should be, my son (and Nnanna hugged his father again, the two men smiled widely).

Light fades.
