Episode 12

Months turned into years, and during breaks, Amanda will come back home, and as we know, time flies, and before we know it, 6 years has passed, and Amanda was done with her secondary school education, and all through her stay in school, she was morally upright, immediately after she was done w her secondary school education, she applied for Queen Mary University of London, and luckily for her, she got admission, she studies her four year course, and at 20 years, she was done with her university education and came back to Nigeria.

Mr Chigozie: I'm so proud of you Amanda, you really represented this family well, so, as I am like this, I am the father of a lawyer?

Amanda: yes Papa, not just a lawyer, but a barrister. Papa, I came back home with someone (and Ejike steps forward) this is Ejike, a friend I made back then in school, Ejike is a medical doctor (and he prostrates to greet him.)

Mr Chigozie: welcome my son.

Ejike: thank you Papa (and he brought forward some gifts from London, he brought forward some cookies, biscuits, bread and chocolates, and then he gave Mr Chigozie some dollars.

Mr Chigozie: All these gifts for us, my son?

Ejike: yes Papa, and even more to come from where it's coming from.

Mr Chigozie: wow! thank you Ejike (to Amanda) Amanda, hope I'm right, I think you said his name is Ejike?

Amanda: yes Papa.

Mr Chigozie: thank you Ejike, God bless you for us.

As Ejike gets up to leave, Amanda's dad was looking at her suspiciously, he knew that something was fishy somewhere.)
