🎯 THE LORD HAS SPOKEN

📖BIBLE TEXT: ISAIAH 40:1-5
🔎📖 Isaiah 40:5 “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The words of consolation from the Prophet sounded so unrealistic, but they were sealed with the powerful closure - ‘the mouth of the Lord has spoken.’ In the face of their challenges, that phrase was like a seal for their insurance and assurance. It was the Almighty God’s signature bearing His integrity and clearly expressing His intent on what has been declared. We also live in challenging times, when people are looking for where to put their trust, in the midst of variances and uncertainties. Trying to give people hope looks like we are patronizing them. When God speaks, we can depend on the power it conveys and we can soar like eagles because we have access to the word and the voice of the Lord.

👉🏽 THE WORD OF THE LORD
Hebrews 1:3 “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.”

Science has exposed us to the immense expanse of the universe and the unimaginable power that could have brought it to existence. We know that it came to be, and is kept by the word of God. When God speaks, His word goes forth and establishes His counsel. Do you seek to receive the word of God on all issues of life? Do you know His voice? Has God spoken to you on any matter? Trust Him and rejoice! It shall be unto us according to the Word of the Lord in Christ.

👉🏽 THE VOICE OF THE LORD
Psalm 29:3 “The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”

The Psalmist echoes the word of God he received and he declared it to be the voice of God. Psalm 68:11 reminds us that “God declared the word and great is the company of those that proclaim it.” When the word of God is received and proclaimed, it goes forth as the voice of God. When we receive the word in our spirit, let us boldly declare it in our situations. And though we are the visible agents speaking it, our situations shall hear the voice of the Lord. May it shake our deserts and prepare us for the greater glory ahead. Be strong, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken well for you!

Faithful Father, I thank You for speaking well concerning my destiny. Please give me the grace to receive Your Word and to declare it! As I do, let  my situations hear Your voice and bow to You in Jesus name. Amen!
