They kept running away from the open space, while ducking, till they got to a shade. 

She pulled out her phone immediately and dialed Conner’s number.

“What are you doing?” Theo asked her, panting with his hands on his knees.

“Calling Conner,” she answered while looking around.

“Where are you?” Conner’s voice asked, immediately he came on.

“Under a shade near a garden, we are among the flowers.” she described, looking out for more details to add.

“Good, look towards the abandoned building opposite, there’s a car parked there. Get in immediately,” he instructed 

“Summer… no matter what happens, keep Theo safe.” Conner said firmly. She didn’t reply to him, but quickly stuffed the phone back in her pocket and grabbed Theo by the collar.

“Quick,” she advised leading him towards the direction of the car. The bullets were now flying around, and they had to run fast to avoid being shot.

They got to the car and hopped in immediately. Theo looked back and saw the attackers gaining in on them, and Summer was just starting the car, 

“Go!” he screamed, as one of the masked men shot at him.
