“It was hard and painful at first, but we all learnt the lesson that he wanted us to learn. My parents are no more, but I am here and I have become who I am today, because of the integrity of this one man… Cornelius Sterling III.” He said and there was a loud round of applause.
“Thank you,” he concluded with a slight bow, before going back to his seat, he ignored the drained and shocked expressions on the faces of the other family members, especially Margaret who looked like she had just been to hell.
After the service, Theo didn’t wait behind for pleasantries but proceeded to the cemetery as Conner had instructed. He was to pay his last respect to his grandfather and disappear without a trace. He would be meeting the other family members officially on the day the will would be read.

“Boss, you were right, there is a visitor in the Sterling family. He is a long lost grandson,” a man in a black hood said over the phone, looking around from the corner where he was hiding. There was silence on the other end.
“Does he look like a threat?” the man on the other end asked.
“He came to the service in a Rolls Royce, the most expensive model,” the man in the hood described and waited for his boss to give the verdict himself.
“Guards?” the man on the other end of the line asked with a sigh?
“None, except for a lady he came with.” The hood man observed.
“Don’t let him leave the cemetery alive. I want a clean job.” The man gave command.
“Yes boss.”
