“I really don’t think this is a good idea for Summer. What about our promise to look out for each other?” I reminded her, looking into her eyes, that night as we sat on the edge of the bed holding hands.

“You have a girlfriend Theo, allow me to have a boyfriend too,” she teased me instead of agreeing with me. 

“Love and dating is not your thing.” I said and she chuckled.

“I want to give it a try, besides how would you know that, we’ve only just met.” She said, hitting my shoulders playfully.

“I really don’t like this idea, but you can give it a trial. Just don’t come running back to me.” I teased her and she smiled broadly.

“I won’t,” she assured me, “Thank you.” She commented before embracing me.

I heaved as the memory came back. I had already given her a go ahead, I can’t afford to complicate things for her now by going against my word. I took the last turn and halted in front of Angelina’s apartment. I got out of the car and marched to the door.

The smile on her face, the spark in her eyes as she held Barth’s hand. I could swear that I have never seen her that happy since I knew her, hence, I couldn’t get the image out of my head. I literally shook my head sideways to shake off the thought, but it was still there in my mind. Was she truly in love with Barth? I wondered as I reached for Angelina’s doorbell. I stopped with my hands a few meters away
